This Privacy Policy applies to the HeaderQuarters Chrome extension. Our core philosophy is: "Command your headers. Nothing leaves HQ."

What Data is Collected

NONE. HeaderQuarters does not collect, track, or process any personal data, usage data, or browsing history.

What Data is Stored

HeaderQuarters stores your user configuration, which includes:

• Header profiles and rules you create.
• User interface settings (e.g., theme preference).

All this data is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage.local API.

What Data is Transmitted

NONE. HeaderQuarters does not transmit any data over the network. There are no analytics, no telemetry, and no remote accounts associated with this extension.

Exported Files

HeaderQuarters allows you to export your configuration. Please note that exported files may contain sensitive header values (e.g., if you created a rule containing an API key or an Authorization token).

• You are solely responsible for protecting and securely storing any exported configuration files.
• The extension does not encrypt exported files.

Chrome Storage Security

The local storage used by HeaderQuarters is governed by the Google Chrome security model. Other extensions cannot access this data directly, but anyone with physical access to your device and unlocked operating system account may be able to read the local storage files.

Third Parties

HeaderQuarters does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. There are no external dependencies at runtime.

Any changes to this privacy policy will be published on this page and noted in the extension's release notes on GitHub.
